There is nothing quite as sweet as a backyard wedding.
Some of you may remember this awesome couple’s engagement from a few months back – where my brother proposed in the middle of downtown Snohomish.
Well, they officially tied the knot in July at Christa’s Dad’s backyard in Arlington, WA. It was a beautiful day – warm, but not too hot. When we arrived, Christa was doing hair (always a hairstylist!), and Josh was of course, working in the yard. Things picked up quickly though, and soon we were ready for the first look. Josh was shaking with a mix of excitement and nerves, and of course, Christa was confident and calm.
Surrounded by friends and family, the said their own vows to each-other and then rushed off to enjoy the party. Cakes and donuts were plentiful, and they shared a sweet dance on the dancefloor in the middle of the field.
I just loved the mix of the soft pink and rich deep red tones accented by the greenery and whites of their decor. My personal favorite was Christa’s bouquet, which had just the right amount of sparkle 😉
Also, I am so incredibly blessed and honored to have been part of this day, and watched my brother take this gigantic step in his life. His amazing wife is one of my favorite people, and this was an experience and day I will never forget.
