We had ourselves a challenge for this Snohomish Bride session at the Lookout Lodge.
Rain in the Pacific Northwest is nothing out of the ordinary, but it seems the last few sessions we’ve had at the Lookout Lodge in Snohomish, we’ve been met with more than our fair share of showers (see some of our past shoots here). Often we just wait out the rain for opportune dry moments, but this time, we ran with it.
We photographed in the bride’s suite, and around the beautiful wrap-around porch. The Lodge has done some recent updates to the log trellis area so we decided to show them off in a break in the downpour – you really should see it in person though, so make sure you set up a visit if you’re truly wanting that PNW-essentials wedding venue. There isn’t a venue in the area like it that screams “Snohomish bride”.
From a two-piece blush and white gown complete with green sash, Marilyn Monroe-inspired classic glam look, gold accents mixed with the natural wood tones, donuts, pearls and a hoop-style bouquet, this Snohomish bride session has a little bit of everything beautiful, with just enough modern paired with true classic beauty.
