Winter weddings are one of our favorite things. It’s also a popular time of year for elopements. The Lookout Lodge in Snohomish is an amazing venue, although not usually open past September for weddings. We were lucky enough to be able to photograph there.
We were hoping for the golden soft haze of the frosty winter morning, but the weather had other ideas. During set up, it rained, it hailed, and then it snowed. Just as we were finishing up, the sun broke through and treated us to a little bit of it’s glow – but I think our gorgeous clients were happy with how it all went. And after all, isn’t the chilly, wet weather prettier with all these greens?
