If we had had a choice, we could not have chosen a better location for this beautiful blush pink and greenery Chelan Wedding.
Natachia, our bride, went to highschool with Josh. When she and Taylor got engaged, she reached out to us and we agreed to do their Chelan wedding. Most of her vendors ended up being former classmates, and it made the reception a bit of a mini-reunion.
When we arrived, Natachia and Taylor were getting ready at the Grandview on the Lake in Chelan. The light was perfect and laughter filled the rooms. We did a first look for Natachia’s Papa (who raised her) and that set the tone that there wouldn’t be a dry eye in the house. Then, she was ready to see Taylor, so we walked across to the Riverview Park. Weather was perfect at cloudy and the low-80s, so we had our choice of photo spots.
We explored a bit and did photos in two locations, and then left for the venue, Shadow Mountain Events, just outside of Chelan. This venue is stunning – it sits at the base of Shadow Mountain and the permanent ceremony area backs up to it. The venue only does a handful of events a year, and the owner is magnificent to work with. It was the perfect backdrop for Natachia and Taylor’s Chelan Wedding vision, though, with the earthy tones complementing the blush pinks and greens of their decor choices.
