Snohomish Washington is filled with incredible wedding venues, from large to small, rustic barns to quaint chapels. One of the most popular wedding destinations in Washington, Snohomish has definitely found it’s niche in love.
Today’s venue review is Belle Chapel, which is located in the heart of Snohomish, just a block from the main road through town. This chapel was built in 1885, and while it’s been beautifully maintained and some parts updated, it still holds much of it’s classic beauty and charm. We’ve been lucky enough to photograph several weddings there in the last few years. It’s the perfect venue for intimate weddings and elopements.
The venue does have it’s own private getting ready rooms – one for the guys and one for the girls. It also features a kitchen, reception area (indoor and out), a landscaped garden area, and plenty of beautiful wooden pews for your ceremony seating. The rich wood tones carry throughout the classic chapel ceremony space, and since the walls have gorgeous windows every few feet, the light creates a moody intimacy that makes it a great place to exchange your vows.
