5 Tips for Grooms on The Wedding Day | The Weducation Series

5 Tips for Grooms to make your wedding day the Best Day Ever.

We’ve been to a lot of weddings, and while we try hard to coach our couples on making their wedding day the best it can be, sometimes we all need some help. We’ve compiled a list of our Top 5 (plus bonus!) tips for grooms. From the ceremony to the first look, to just the whole wedding day in general, these should get it started off right!

  1. You are the official Ambassador of Affection on your wedding day. Touch her, kiss her, love on her. Even if you aren’t normally like that.
  2. Tell her she’s beautiful. A lot. Every time you get close enough to whisper it.
  3. Write her a note and get her something sweet and thoughtful that’s delivered to her or in her getting ready room when she arrives. This can be a true gift, or something small like her favorite wine, an embroidered hanky, a new personalized dish for her ring.
  4. Hold her hands during the ceremony. Wipe her tears or kiss them away. And remember that you can kiss her whenever you want, not just that big kiss at the end.
  5. But, speaking of that kiss during the ceremony? That’s YOUR moment. Give her the kiss of her life, and pretend that no one is watching. Take her breath away.

Two bonus tips for Grooms!

6. Thank her in your speech that wraps up the toasts. Thank her last, and thank her for every reason you love her.

7. Enjoy your time together on the wedding day. Through everything, remember this is ONE DAY. One day to celebrate, one day to show her off, and one day to show her how much she really, truly means to you.
