We love rustic barns for weddings, and even more when the property has meaning to our couple, like this Ellensburg wedding did for Anna and Dick.
The day was hot, but spirits were high. The girls were gathered in the basement ready room getting all dolled up when we arrived, and the guys were hanging out in the shade of the barn enjoying a few beers and the homemade mister fan they’d rigged to keep cool.
Some of the details from Anna:
How did the two of you meet?
I was his barista.
Tell me the proposal details.
We went to our property in Tonasket for our 4 year anniversary. He lit 20 tiki torches and a bon fire, and had champagne waiting for me when I walked out. He knelt down in the snow.
Is there a special reason you chose your Ellensburg wedding venue?
It’s our friends house and so pretty. When he proposed he knew two things – where he wanted to get married, and who he wanted to have cater!
Do you have any special moments planned?
Groom is walking my grandma down the aisle
If we bumped in to you guys on a relaxed weekend, what would you be doing?
Staying at our cabin.
