How did the two of you meet?
We first met in 6th grade as we were at the same middle school but we really didn’t get to know each other until later on in high school. We started dating Junior year of high school.
How did the proposal happen?
Hunter worked with my parents and my best friends to surprise me on New Year’s Eve on top of the Columbia tower. He told me that we were going to his company party and I had no idea. We had talked about getting married back in June and I jokingly told him he had until the end of the year. We rode the elevator up and when we turned the corner our song was playing and I said “oh how strange it’s our song” we turned the corner again and there was a row of rose petals and at the end he proposed. Then all of my friends and parents came out and we had some cocktails. It was perfect!!!
Why did you choose your venue?
Nothing particularly special about the venue however since we both grew up in Monroe, getting married in Snohomish just felt right. Plus we loved the venue!
If we ran into you on a relaxed weekend, what would you be doing?
Most likely doing something with our friends either a farmers market, lake house, or a game night.
