How did the two of you meet?
We met at a rave/edm show in Seattle called Freak Night, and bonded over the fact that neither of us were really “ravers”. We sat against a wall in the venue and talked for hours while our friends danced.
How did the proposal happen?
Max unknowingly set me up years in advance by always telling me that “Christmas proposals are dumb”. Yet last Christmas morning he made a giant red and green gift box out of plywood that said “OPEN ME” on the top. I walked into our living room on Christmas morning and opened the box to him down on one knee inside :’)
Why did you choose this venue for your winter wedding?
Not necessarily, we chose the Fairmont because from the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the historical architecture and timeless design. It was very fitting for what we were going for.
If we bumped into you on a relaxed weekend off, what would you be doing?
Eating sushi, or doing projects at home.
