Fairytale Winter Wedding at Lords Hill Farm & UW | Monroe WA
Winter Weddings are amazing. Especially when they have fairytale inspiration and feature a bride as beautiful as a princess.
Lord Hill Farm weddings are stunning in the summer, but the beauty of the grounds for a winter wedding is beyond compare. Katerina and Vincent’s decor was simple, but beautiful. They pulled in tones of blush pink & gold for romance, and hints of navy and gray for sophistication for this beautiful Snohomish Winter Wedding. One of my favorite touches was the simple Beauty and the Beast inspired rose on the table near the fireplace. It was understated and elegant, and truly captured the feel of the event. Even better, we got to explore the gorgeous architecture and grounds of University of Washington with them a few days later.
We always believe that our couples tell the story the best, so let’s hear all the fun stuff from Katerina:
He lived 2 floors above me at an apartment near University of Oregon. He was starting his PhD program for physics, and I was just finishing up my Post-bach. We met at a friend’s house that was a floor between us.
We went to whistler to go snowboarding, and we were staying at this romantic bed and breakfast. After dinner, we went walking around with light snow falling around us. We stopped in front of Christmas lights to take pictures. My fiance gave the phone to a complete stranger as told him to take as many pictures as possible. Then he turns around and proposes. I was so surprised the photographer (the stranger) took pictures of me jumping up and down.
