How did the two of you meet?
A little untraditionally (or maybe not anymore) online. Our first date was 8 hours and we’ve been together ever since.
How did the proposal happen?
We were on a family trip in Cancun and we were taking family photos and Corey got down on one knee during them to propose.
Why did you choose your Stanwood venue?
Nothing special about the venue itself but instead of using their designated ceremony space, we are getting married between two rows of large evergreen trees.
If we were to run into you a relaxed day off, what would you be doing?
We have been remodeling our house for the past 14 months, so probably that.
What are the special things you planned for your wedding?
I am obsessed with the flower ideas. Going along with the earthy theme, all the flowers are very imperfect and whimsey and they all look like they will be growing right out of whatever they are on. Especially the ones lining the aisle. They look like they are growing right out of the ground.
We will be playing both of our parents first wedding songs and it is a surprise.
