If I ever get lost, will you find me? If am deep in sorrow, will you share them with me? If I ever get old, will you still love me this way?
These two … oh, these two. When I think of Levi & Arianne, the first word that comes to mind is “comfortable” … but that doesn’t seem big enough. There is a sense of familiarity, friendship, companionship, and warmth. They know each-other. Their secrets, hopes, dreams … what they sound like when they laugh, how it feels when they cry. They are the missing piece to their puzzles.
And the proposal? Well, our bride tells it best:
“It was a beautiful summer day in the cascades. We had reached the top of the Naches loop hike, Mount Rainier to the right and crystal clear Naches lake to the left. After a quick summit photo taken by some fellow hikers we headed down to a more secluded meadow for a snack. The perfect spot with a wonderful view of the snow covered mountain! Levi reached into his bag for a granola bar “So there was something I wanted to ask you” He turned around on one knee with a gold glittering ring “will you marry me?” After a pause that lasted an eternity the only thing that came to mind was “really?” shortly followed by a speechless kiss. “Of course” I said after I finally caught my breath. I was so elated I couldn’t think straight and was somewhere between laughing and crying. Brooke met us at the summit and after initial disappointment thinking she missed the wedding, she was just as excited as the rest of us.”
They married at Levi’s parent’s home on Spring Lake in Renton. They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck, and the newlyweds were blessed with a good dose of that in true Pacific Northwest fashion. It didn’t faze them a bit – and it dried up just in time for their ceremony on the dock!
This wedding was filled with awesome – from pocket watches and guns carried by all the groomsmen to the best set of ring bearers (protectors? deputies? rangers?) I think I’ve seen yet, and even the delicious dessert bar complete with a hamburger-shaped doughnut. There was dancing and laughter all around, and lots of love and support for these two. This was one of those weddings that you could tell that both were being welcomed with open arms.
These two had a pretty rad wedding party, too. Not only were they willing to try *almost* anything, but 4 of them actually jumped in the lake at the end of the party… I’m not quite sure they expected the bridesmaids to steal their pants though!
Arianne is soft spoken, sweet, and quick to smile; Levi is sturdy, confident and steady. You can see the strength that they create as a couple, and as a family. Their young daughter was just as excited for the festivities, but unfortunately was a little sick and spent most of the day resting. We’re looking forward to meeting up with them to capture some special family photos of just the three of them soon.
Leave them some comment love below!
