How did the two of you meet?
We met in high school our senior year. We took a certified nursing assistant class half the day and then went to different high schools the rest of the day. We would always spend lunch at one of our houses before we went to the rest of our classes. We went on our first date on Valentines that year and we both didn’t quite know it was a date. We went to “how to be single” at Ipic in Redmond and then went to K1 racing. We had been dating for about 6months before I went to college in OR. We spent the next five years doing long distance and only really seeing each other once a month and summers. It has been nice this last year to actually get to be together planning our wedding!
How did the proposal happen?
Tyler asked me if my best friend (Maid of honor-Karen) would want to go to Anacortes, WA. We visited a little while ago and I loved the city and overlook. Tyler drove us right to the overlook and Karen wanted to take some pictures of us before we walked around. After a couple pictures he said he wanted to take one more and got down on one knee to propose. It was magical, but I might have seen it coming 😉
Why did you choose Gray Bridge?
We just fell in love with the movement of the venue. I like how everything is in different spots. I really like the water and fountain. Always wanted an outdoor wedding.
What are you most anticipating on your wedding day?
Walking down the aisle to my soulmate (the look on his face seeing me for the first time); First touch; Getting ready with the girls!
If we ran into you on a relaxed day off, what would you be doing?
Walking around the mill creek town center or just walking any new city or spot we haven’t been. We like to explore and be spontaneous with finding new and interesting spots. Also love walking my dogs or taking them to the dog park.
