How did the two of you meet?
Our best friends introduced us 5 years ago.

How did the proposal happen?
In Chelan. We were on a weekend getaway with our best friends that introduced us and wine tasting in Chelan. We went on a walk in the vineyard and went to take a photo and I turned around and Kyle was on one knee and asked me! Later he surprised me with each of our parents for a celebratory engagement dinner.

Why did you choose Pemberton Farm?
We love the venue because it is on the river and water was an important part we wanted to incorporate into our venue! we also love panoramic beauty that this venue displays of Snohomish. we also really like the getting ready area for girls and guys and the reception space.

What part of your wedding day were you looking forward to most?
The ceremony, saying “I DO”! and then celebrating with family and friends and dance party after.

If we bumped into you on a weekend day off, what would you be doing?
Spending time with family, yard work/house work, wine tasting, or barbecuing/traeger with friends over.

Meet your photographers.

We’re Kate (she/her) and Josh (he/him). Married humans, emotional chaos wranglers, coffee worshippers, timeline nerds, Marvel fanatics, and occasional ugly criers at weddings. (Okay, maybe more than occasional. Look, vows get us. Every damn time.) Kate has been photographing since 1997 and Josh picked up the camera in 2011. We’ve done over 600 weddings together, including wedding coordination (sometimes we even get to do both at the same time!) 600+ weddings → “That’s 600 families who trusted us to be invisible magic and backup problem-solvers.” 14 years → “We’ve seen it all — and we know how to handle anything without making it your problem.” Coordination → Kate is also a certified coordinator which gives that extra boost for you during planning and on the day itself “We don’t just photograph your day — we keep it flowing, calm, and meaningful.”
