TreeHouse Point is one of our favorite locations for intimate weddings.
Melissa & John brought their family and closest friends from Arizona and beyond to witness their wedding among the trees.
One of my favorite moments was when Melissa and I were waiting in the main house for the ceremony to start. She sat on the window seat and watched everyone – and then she saw John. She was immediately full of emotion and everything hit all at once: “He’s so cute!” she kept saying, over and over again. It was absolutely perfect and so sweet.
I’ll let Melissa tell you some of the details.
How did the two of you meet?
On Match.com! Our first date was to this swanky little lounge called The Beverly.
Tell me all the awesome proposal details.
John proposed during a backpacking trip in Utah, on top of Mt. Timpanogos.
Is there anything special about your venue for your TreeHouse Point Wedding?
John loves all things treehouse, and I surprised him with a trip to TreeHouse Point the first year we celebrated his birthday together.
What is your most anticipated moment of your wedding day?
The moment John & I see each other, and we’ve finally made it to the moment we start forever together.
If we bumped in to you on a relaxed weekend, where would you be and what would you be doing?
Hiking, mountain biking and/or camping.
