They have the kind of love that feels new but forever at the same time. Where the secret smiles and inside jokes are as fluid as finding each-others hands as they sleep. The kind of love that says, “With you, I’m home.”

These two have spent most of their lives loving each-other. They’ve created a home together in this beautiful farmhouse – and when I was seeking out couples to take part in “At home” sessions, they graciously agreed. After over a decade together, their comfort is palpable – whether in the same room or in each-other’s arms, they are home. They were ideal for a couples farmhouse session.

The cozy and careful decor of their home invites you in and asks you to stay awhile. As they cozied up in their tea nook, with cups in hand and just enjoyed the company of one another, I realized that these are my favorite kind of couples. The kind that are past words, but intimate. That are such a huge part of the other’s story that they know that even just sitting together makes a beautiful chapter in their lives.

Meet your photographers.

We’re Kate (she/her) and Josh (he/him). Married humans, emotional chaos wranglers, coffee worshippers, timeline nerds, Marvel fanatics, and occasional ugly criers at weddings. (Okay, maybe more than occasional. Look, vows get us. Every damn time.) Kate has been photographing since 1997 and Josh picked up the camera in 2011. We’ve done over 600 weddings together, including wedding coordination (sometimes we even get to do both at the same time!) 600+ weddings → “That’s 600 families who trusted us to be invisible magic and backup problem-solvers.” 14 years → “We’ve seen it all — and we know how to handle anything without making it your problem.” Coordination → Kate is also a certified coordinator which gives that extra boost for you during planning and on the day itself “We don’t just photograph your day — we keep it flowing, calm, and meaningful.”

This is so cute and fun! I dream of an at-home couple’s session someday…someday when we don’t live in a 1970’s single wide, lol. It’ll come. But for now I can drool over these! They are lovely!
