A Truly Seattle Wedding | Golden Gardens Bathhouse Seattle

This wedding is TRULY a Seattle wedding.

Erin and Matt love the city. The sports teams, the city life, the happenings. Everything about their day had a little piece of the city in it. From their first look on the rooftop at Bell Harbor (complete with the Great Wheel, a Ferry, Safeco Field and CenturyLink Field in the background) … Erin even brought Matt some Starbucks coffee in an REI thermos to commemorate their first date.

They married in the meadow at Golden Gardens, and then went in and partied it up with a Food Truck, Seahawks Cake, and even a ShotSki. Take a look at all the fun below and leave them some comment love!

We were at Erin’s families beach house in Port Townsend and decided to go into town for brunch and to look at Fort Warden as a possible place to get married. ( we were trying to get a jump on things… LOL) I pulled up to a parking view point to show Matt the bunkers and we were looking at the water. I put the car in reverse to head back and Matt yelled “Stop!” I want you to be my wife” I said ” yes I know” he pulled the ring box out of his pocket and said “NO! I want you to be my wife” He opened the box and asked me to marry him! I quickly put the car in park and leaned over to kiss him!

Is there anything special about your venue that is the reason you chose it?

Its on the beach, has a great view of the mountain.

Is there a theme to your wedding?

a slight aviation theme- Erin’s mom and dad are a flight attendant and pilot respectively and Matt and his late father both work (ed) at Boeing.
